This beautiful farmer’s cheese has matured for 2.5 years (!). This results in a perfect old farmer’s cheese, made from fresh raw cow’s milk. The taste of this cheese is characterful and sharp. With beautiful ripening crystals in the dairy, it is a real eye-catcher on the cheese platter.
After 1 year, this farmer’s cheese gets a thin layer of coating, but after that it doesn’t. This ensures that the crust of the cheese remains thin, which in turn creates a sublime taste experience.
A little bit of this farmer’s cheese “Subliem Oud” grated on an onion soup is a real treat.
