Farmstead cheese with Chinese peppers
The Villa Szechuan is a farmstead cheese with an addition of Szechuan, or Chinese peppers. Szechuan is native to the Chinese province of Szechuan and is a dried spice from a flower plant. The taste is spicy and a little floral. The combination of these peppers with the taste of Dutch farmstead cheese is truly excellent. A delicious creamy cheese with a slightly spicy taste. This cheese has been given a dark coating for a unique look.
