Wow, our Mèkkerstee Old has been proclaimed the champion of all biological cheeses! But that’s not all! A lot of our other cheeses have won awards during the International Cheese & Dairy Awards on Thursday 30 June 2022 in Staffordshire, England.
Cheese test
This event takes place every summer. On the first day of the fair, the submitted cheeses are tested by a professional jury. This year, over 4,500 cheeses from all over the world participated in this competition. The cheeses are divided into several categories. A few examples of these categories are: Best biological cheese, Best goat cheese with additions, Best Dutch cheese, Best farmer’s cheese, Best cheese with savoury additions, etcetera.

Once again, our cheeses have achieved excellent results this year. We have listed our award winners of 2022 below. Starting with the award, followed by the category, and finally the type of cheese:

- SILVER – Cheese with savoury additions – Villa Wild Garlic
