We are looking for a Logistic Employee
We are Treur Kaas. The wholesale distributor for Dutch cheese and foreign cheese. A family business founded in 1955. We specialize in ripening and caring for Dutch cheese. Treur Kaas holds a distinctive position in the world of cheese with various premium brands. We operate worldwide.
` Job description
As part of the warehouse team, you will assist with our production and order processing, in close consultation with and under the responsibility of the Logistics Manager. You are a real go-getter, solution-oriented, place high value on quality, and you do not have a 9-to-5 mentality. If you have the ambition to grow into a machine operator, that’s certainly a plus, as we offer you the chance to receive internal training for this position.
Core values such as reliability, honesty, mutual respect, clarity, customer experience, and social responsibility are essential for performing the work well.
In short
- Assembling orders (order picking)
- Preparing orders for shipment to our customers
- Wrapping/labeling cheeses
- Maintaining cheeses
- Other logistical activities such as loading and unloading of our trucks
- Performing cleaning tasks in the warehouse where necessary
Who we’re looking for:
- Smart, fit, and motivated go-getters
- (V)MBO work and thinking level
- Preferably experience in a similar role
- Affinity with the food industry (experience is a plus)
- Living in the vicinity of Treur Kaas / Woerden
- Proficiency in the Dutch and or English language
