Dutch smoked farmhouse cheese
Villa Fumé is a very special cheese. This is a Dutch farmhouse cheese, but then smoked! A combination you don’t see very often. The taste is slightly spicy with a real natural smoke taste. The dairy is still deliciously creamy in texture.
Villa Fumé is made from thermized milk. The cheese was then smoked in a smoking box. After a few tests, a wood moth mixture of various types of wood has been composed, giving the cheese a delicious characteristic smoke taste during the smoking process. In the maturation room, the cheese can ripen further and the smoke taste penetrates into the heart of the cheese. The dark brown colour of the coating, the delicious Dutch smoke taste and the label make this cheese a special cheese.
