The cheese of the Mèkkerstee is very special. This goat cheese is 100% organic, full of taste and pure nature! On care farm De Mèkkerstee in Ouddorp, a goat herd of about 600 goats grazes that give about 3 liters of fresh goat’s milk every day. This milk is of high quality because the goats receive the best nutrition and care. In addition, they get the space they need.
The milk is processed into goat cheese with a delicious pure goat cheese flavor. In this process, no salt is added or preservatives are used, so you can taste the best of nature! The most delicious goat’s cheese is so soft and creamy that it appeals to everyone.
Happy Mrs. Jersey is an organic cheese made from 100% Jersey milk. The cheese is produced from the organic milk of 62 Jersey cows from Melkveehouderij Sprangers in Kaatsheuvel. These cows are housed in the innovative Kwatrijnstall, which is known for high animal welfare, strong ammonia reduction, and a beautiful integration into the landscape.
Jersey milk has a different composition of fat and protein compared to Holstein cow milk. The fat content (5.9%) and protein level (4.2%) are higher, which makes the cheese even creamier and fuller in flavor. Additionally, Jersey milk is naturally richer in vitamins and minerals (twice as much), carotene, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than milk from Holstein cows. This results in a particularly rich cheese with a distinctive taste.
In addition to its different composition, Jersey cows emit 20% less nitrogen in the production of 100 kg of cheese compared to Holstein cows. The hard facts show that the milk production from Jersey cows leads to a reduction in land use (11%), water consumption (32%), and ecological footprint by 20%.
Jersey cows are rare and are kept only in a few places. Furthermore, the Jersey cow is a strong breed that efficiently utilizes its feed, using less feed for the same amount of milk. This makes the Jersey cow very suitable for organic farming. However, the cow is smaller and produces less milk.
Biostee is a 100% organic cheese, made from the most creamy cow’s milk.
Biostee is an organic agriculture and vegetable growing company in the Hoeksche Waard. This company is run by 3 farmers.
In Strijen, a town next to Zuid-Beijerland, 200 milk cows are grazing. These are taking care of by farmer Marius de Vlieger. These cows feast on the resting crops of the Biostee. As a thank you, they give delicious milk and manure full of nutrients in return. The result is happy cows, delicious cheese from their milk, vegetables that grow well and farmers with a big smile. So the circle is complete!
The herbed cheeses from the Villa range are all special. All cheeses are made in a traditional way according to their own recipe. These herbed cheeses are made by selected farmers who are specialized in making unique herbed cheeses. Each cheese gets its own herbal additions, creating the specific taste.

Twisca is a delicious tasteful North-Holland sheep’s cheese, rich in vitamins. This cheese owes its full, creamy taste to its high form (which is very beneficial for maturing) but above all to the North-Holland meadow’s where the milk sheep can graze to the fullest.
The milk for Twisca comes from nico Verduin’s sheep farm called “westfriesedijk”. He has about 700 Frisian milk sheep, which give an average of 450 liters of milk per year. In the Netherlands there are only 7000 of these sheep in total. His sheep graze on 70 hectares of land. This large nature reserve has always been influenced by salty, wetland. This makes the grass richer in composition and the milk much tastier! The feed for the animals is self-grown, so they can guarantee the quality. An extra effort they like to make to guarantee their vision for animal welfare and health!
Nico Verduin’s company is unique because lambs are born all year round (every month). The advantage of this is that he can deliver the best milk all year round and you can taste that in this delicious sheep’s cheese.
Beppie sheep’s cheese is a 100% organic sheep’s cheese. Coming from a small cooperative with organic sheep and prepared by De Mèkkerstee from Ouddorp. Very tasteful and particularly soft and creamy in taste. A real specialty with an unique taste.
This sheep’s cheese has the name Beppie due to the fact that Beppie is a primal Dutch name and the milk of this cheese comes from Dutch sheep. This sheep’s cheese is a real Dutch product, made from Dutch milk, so that’s why we chose this Dutch name.
